This incredible milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work, dedication, and passion of each one of you and SPOONers that came before to exceed customer expectations with best-in-class service and events.

SPOON Events was born from a simple yet powerful vision: to create unforgettable experiences that bring people together and deliver unparalleled customer service. With just a handful of employees, a small office, pizza and beer, it was here that our core values of creativity, excellence, and customer focus were established.

Our journey over the past 25 years has been driven by the incredible people who make up the SPOON Events family. Each member of our team has played a crucial role in our success. Your creativity, dedication, and unwavering commitment are the bedrock of our achievements.

As we celebrate this silver anniversary, we are more excited than ever about the future. The events industry is continuously evolving, and we are ready to embrace new trends and technologies. Our goal remains the same: to create extraordinary experiences and exceed customer expectations that leave a lasting impact.

SPOON through the years

April 5th, 1999

OPEN FOR BUSINESS

25 years ago SPOON Events opened its doors to
service the world of tradeshows and events
with a commitment to customers, creativity,
service, value and our SPOON family.

2000

FIRST OFFICE

SPOON moved into its first office space on Norris Dr. in downtown Rochester where they would operate until 2004.

2001

ATLANTA & LAS VEGAS

To better serve their growing client base, SPOON opened their first satellite offices in Atlanta and Las Vegas.

2003

ROCHESTER TOP 100

SPOON received their first of 8 (so far) Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 Awards in 2003. They would return to the  list in 2004, 2005, 2013, 2014, 2017, 2023 & 2024.

2004

NEW HQ FACILITY

In 2004 SPOON made the move to their forever home in Macedon, NY where they set up their state-of-the-art HQ.

2013

FURTHER ACCOLADES

Over the years SPOON has been
recognized as a leader in the industry with awards like Exhibitor Magazines Find It and Event marketer’s Fab 50.

2020

100% OWNERSHIP

In February 2020 Herb bought out his partners stake in SPOON and became 100% Owner of the company.

After 25 years SPOON has positioned itself as a leader in the industry and continues to grow with a focus on the best people and the best customer service.
