25 years ago, SPOON Events opened its doors to service the world of tradeshows and events. From humble beginnings of few clients and many unknowns, our commitment to customers, creativity, service, value, and our SPOON family transformed us into a 25-year success story as a best-in class global events company. Today we celebrate our loyal, incredible customers, and the hardest working, most dedicated team in the events industry.

SPOON through the years

April 5th, 1999

OPEN FOR BUSINESS

SPOON began with just a handful of employees, a small office, pizza, and beer, it was here that our core values of creativity, excellence, and customer focus were established.

2000

FIRST OFFICE

We moved into our first office space on Norris Dr. in downtown Rochester, New York.

2001

ATLANTA & LAS VEGAS

To better serve our growing client base, we opened our first satellite offices in Atlanta and Las Vegas.

2003

ROCHESTER TOP 100

SPOON received our first Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce Top 100 Award, celebrating the fastest-growing privately-owned companies in the region. We are proud to have earned a place on the list in many subsequent years (including 2024!).

2004

NEW HQ FACILITY

We made the move to SPOON’s forever home in Macedon, NY, and set up a state-of-the-art HQ.

2013

FURTHER ACCOLADES

Our hard work and dedication was rewarded as SPOON grew to become an industry leader. Over the years, SPOON has been named one of Event Marketer’s Top 50 North American Exhibit Builders, and one of Exhibitor Magazine’s Top 40 Exhibit Producers.

2020

100% OWNERSHIP

In February 2020 Herb bought out his partners’ stake in SPOON and became 100% owner of the company.

2024

SPOON TODAY

After 25 years SPOON has positioned itself as a leader in the industry and continues to grow with a focus on the best people and the best customer service.
